Karen Willis

Known for her friendly, pragmatic approach, Karen is passionate about delivering a service that is both highly professional and genuinely supportive. Karen has a particular interest in resolving matters without the need to go to court. She is committed to using non-court dispute resolution methods, such as mediation, solicitor-led negotiation, and private Financial Dispute Resolution, to give her clients more certainty, control, and quicker outcomes – without the stress, cost and delay of litigation. She has significant experience guiding clients through these processes and sees real value in approaches that focus on resolving issues constructively. Karen is committed to helping clients find solutions without always having to rely on the court process.

Karen trained and qualified in London in 1997, gaining valuable experience in complex and business-related divorces. Before joining Woolley & Co in November 2019, she was a partner at a Norfolk law firm. This background enables her to advise a wide range of clients, from business owners to stay-at-home parents, tailoring her advice to suit each individual’s circumstances.

She is a member of Resolution and adheres to its Code of Practice, promoting a non-confrontational approach to family law.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys running, supporting her children in their sporting activities, and spending time with family along the beautiful North Norfolk coast.
