He has particular expertise in advising police officers, military personnel and other public sector professionals on divorce and complex pension arrangements, as well as a growing caseload involving British expats, particularly in the US.

He regularly supports clients through family mediation and has successfully resolved many protracted cases through private Financial Dispute Resolution hearings. Nick is a problem solver at heart, committed to helping couples find workable solutions through a constructive, future-focused approach — avoiding the delays, stress, and costs of drawn-out court proceedings wherever possible.

In addition to divorce and separation, Nick also advises on cohabitation agreements, helping couples safeguard their futures from the outset. He actively supports his local community by volunteering with the Citizens Advice Bureau and was a former trustee of the Lowestoft Contact Centre, which helps children maintain relationships with both parents after separation.

Outside of work, Nick is a lifelong sports enthusiast who’s always keen to stay active — despite the occasional injury — and enjoys spending time with his family.

Nick qualified as a legal executive in November 1996 and joined Woolley & Co in September 2009 from a firm in Ipswich.
